Home New Residents
As a new resident you may have questions regarding your HOA or even some City of College Station services. We encourage you to read your Emerald Forest Deed Restrictions (found under Documents) and become familiar with other general City of College Station codes (which can be found at www.cstx.gov/codeenforcement).
To get you started, here’s some helpful information:
There are Deed Restrictions that are common to all Phases of Emerald Forest. Others are specific to a particular Phase. Those that are common to all Phases include, but are not limited to:
Remember, not following the deed restrictions impacts not just your home, but all of your neighbors as well.
You may notice some of your neighbors with American Flags flying on national holidays or A&M Flags flying on home game days. If you wish to participate in these services please see below:

It has been a tradition in Emerald Forest to encourage everyone to put up our green Christmas tree yard lights during the holidays. If you wish to participate, you can find the instructions HERE .
The following are the regular trash and recycling days. For the holiday collection schedule times go to http://www.cstx.gov/ and search for holiday trash collection.
Monday – Lawn/yard waste and other large item pickup at curb
Wednesday – Trash collection (have your waste container at the curb by 8:00 am)
Every other Wednesday – Recycle collection (have your recycle container at the curb by 8:00 am)
Note that all trash containers are required to be pulled from the curb within 12 hours per City of College Station code.
You can join your neighbors on the Nextdoor Emerald Forest Email Group. Nextdoor is a private social network that allows us to communicate easily with each other. You can use it to post a lost/found pet, notify others of a break-in, find a good babysitter, identify painters and handymen, post items for sale, and other things that may be of interest to you and your neighbors.
